10.4.16 at the Greek Macedonian, FYROM (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia) border this morning 11.45.  Members of our team are volunteering here today.

We were out with team banana in the Idomeni camp where the protest in the photograph is happening. 4000 bananas given out tent to tent to small children and nursing mums. An estimated 40% of the people here are children.

The work does not stop even when the  protests start and tear gas is thrown by the FYROM police, tear gas that doesn’t discriminate between man, woman child or baby. Right now volunteers are helping people to calm their children, wash eyes and assist people away from the camp.
