Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a registered charity?
YES, we are a fully registered charity. Our charity number is: 1166273 This has been provided by the Charity Commission for England and Wales. We started our charity on the 16th of September 2015.
How will the funds be used?
We are a non-profit charity and all but a small amount of our funds will go to supporting refugees. We are keeping our costs down, taking no salary for trustees and the only funds diverted are for technical costs (mobile phones, website, email etc). As we are a very small charity we are fast reacting to crisis and devote at minimum 95% to 99% of all funds raised to go directly to those refugees we can support.
How do I send small donations to you?
Our post box address is below and only send us items that we request, for example knickers for Greece:
83 Ducie Street
How can I help?
Mostly we need funds. Please visit our donation form and give all you can spare .. we promise that it will go directly to refugees to support them in their journey.
We will also need volunteers in time. If its a day you can donate, a few days or even weeks. Knowing when you’ll be able to help and where, we can then integrate you to give the most effective support we need in order to help others.
